Junior's
The Truro junior curling program offers youth between the ages of 8 and 20
to participate in afterschool programming each and everyday.Junior curling offers a fun way to
become more physically active, meet friends and learn a new skill.
As a junior curler there are many opportunities to play for awards in fun bonspiels throughout the province; including the Don Smith Family Spiel. Join a team today, or bring some friends and make your own team!
Ages 8-12
Our Little Rocks program runs Fridays from 4:00-5:00pm and teaches youth the basics of the game along with a great opportunity to participate in the Provincial Little Rock Championships*.
Ages 12-20 (all Junior programs run from 3:45 to 5:oo pm on weekdays)
Tuesdays- Instruction is given on Tuesday's for first and second year junior curlers, extra sheets can be used for practice time.
Monday and Thursday- Juniors play games
Wednesday- Junior team practice time
Cost-
Juniors (age 13-20)- $100.00/year
Little Rocks (age 8-12)- $45.00/year
*This year the Truro club will be hosting the under 13 provincials in February.
